The round wire earrings have a simple geometric design with intricate hand formed decoration. The small and lightweight design makes them easy to wear everyday. Each earring is carefully wrapped by hand, with the wire tightly bound to ensure the earrings keep their shape.

Wrapping wire is often used as an additional part in a piece of jewellery, to hold a stone in place or create a pattern. I enjoy using wrapping wire to make it the main focus in the piece, so I design my jewellery around the technique. I designed these earrings to push this wire wrapping technique to create a 3D shape. I enjoyed the challenge of creating a frame that gives the smaller wire enough support to hold its shape. It was important that the final form is durable as well as beautiful.'
